He decided to bring together several of his restaurants in one place on the waterfront. Since its opening, the Boardwalk has turned into much more than restaurants, but also a destination for family fun. Located approximately 20 miles from downtown Houston, the Boardwalk features some outstanding restaurants: Landry s Seafood House, Joe s Crab Shack, the Cadillac Bar, and the Crab House. <br /> <br /> There is also an Aquarium Restaurant similar to the one downtown complete with a 200,000-gallon aquarium, as well as a Salt Grass Steak House, Babin s Seafood House, and The Flying Dutchman.
