Location: 3203 FM 1960 East, Humble (east of Highway 59)
Old MacDonald’s Farm is a petting zoo paradise for everyone to enjoy. The whole
family will enjoy being able to pet the farm animals in twelve, yes, twelve petting
zoos at this fun “farm.” If there is a perfect activity for kids under 10, this
would have to be on the short list! If you are looking for a place to host a birthday
party or family reunion, the “Old West Fort” and “Indian Village” are nice, covered
areas where you can entertain.
As if the petting zoo spectacular wasn’t enough to enthrall and entertain your family,
there are numerous other attractions at Old MacDonald’s Farm. Little cowboys and
cowgirls can ride the good-natured ponies. For slow-moving fun, there is a miniature
train ride. They can also enjoy swimming in the swimming pool, catching crawfish
in the crawfish pool, and feeding some very happy ducks at the duck pond.
Bring along anti-bacterial hand gel for quick cleanups if you are concerned about
germs
that the animals might have. This farm will leave your kids happily exhausted
and ready for the drive back home or to your hotel. Even though it’s out of the
way if you are staying inside Houston city limits, the drive is well worth it. |
