SplashTown is considered Houston’s best water park. Originally an independent park, it has become a part of the Six Flags park family and is also a favorite of Houston residents. It is the summer “second home” for thousands of kids and teens looking to beat the heat.
Splash around the giant wave pool and listen to the hottest tunes on the giant jukebox. For easy floating, loll along the “river” which runs through the park, riding in an inner tube. For older kids and adults, the water slides are the major attraction, with steep drops and thrilling curves aplenty—watch out or you might even lose your swimsuit! There are activities for younger kids and their parents as well, with fun fountains and pools to splash in.
The lifeguards are watching, but it is safest to keep an eye on your youngest kids at all times. When it is time to take a break from the action, there are a variety of concession stands including Dippin’ Dots and smoked turkey legs that really hit the spot.
Forget your sunscreen? Not a problem; the Beach Shop has everything that you need. SplashTown is the place for family fun in the sun.
