September 22 - October 31(mostly weekends) Screamworld Description: If last year was any indication, the mad minds have come up with something even more terrifying. They claim that you will leave their haunt with a tag on your big toe. Location: 2225 N. Sam Houston Pkwy, Houston Time: 8pm Cost: $18 for all three haunts
Phobia Description: Not one, but four haunted houses in one place, The Darke Institute, Asylum, Simon Fowler Woods, and 3D Clown Phobia. Location: 18777 Highway 290, exit West Road between Beltway 8 & FM 1960 Time: 8pm Cost: Varies by attraction
October 1 - 31(mostly weekends) Description: This mansion is so terrifying that most people lose their minds out of fear. This year, they also present "The Challenge." This attraction challenges you to go all the way and finish. And, if you do, management will reimburse your admission. Location: 2001 Commerce St., Houston Time: 8pm Cost: $18 regular and $25 for "The Challenge"
