The Woodlands Mall is the premier shopping destination in the North Houston area. If your vacation isn’t going to take you near the Galleria or Uptown Park, this mall is a more than adequate way to get your shopping out of the way.

Combining all the amenities of a traditional mall with a unique new “lifestyle center” adjoining the mall, this shopping center has stores and restaurants the whole family will enjoy.

The outdoor center features boat rides down the man-made river out to Lake Woodlands and back. There is also a large Barnes & Noble Bookstore in which you can browse while you wait for a table at the adjacent restaurants.

Have lunch at the popular Cheesecake Factory or P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, check out the fun and funky items at Anthropologie, and then take the kids to the spacious food court to enjoy the massive carousel ride. During the winter holiday season, there is even an outdoor ice skating rink for the adventurous family. In Houston, ice skating is a big and wonderful deal!

Of course, the Woodlands Mall has several major department stores and all your specialty favorites such as Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria’s Secret and Pottery Barn.
