The Houston Aeros
mission is striving for excellence to insure all fans great pride,
entertainment and community in being a part of our organization.
The Houston Aeros are in their 14th season of professional hockey –
sixth in the American Hockey League. They have won two hockey titles –
the International League’s Turner Cup in 1999 and the AHL’s Calder Cup
in 2003. The Aeros have been to the post-season in all but one of their
13 previous seasons.
Houston is a city rich in hockey history. Such legends as Gordie Howe,

time in Houston playing for teams such as the WHA Aeros, USHL
Skippers/Huskies and the CPHL/CHL Apollos.
The Aeros play at the state-of-the-art Toyota Center in downtown
Houston. The Toyota Center is the home to the NBA’s Houston Rockets and
the WNBA’s Houston Comets.
