The Festival of Lights is the favorite place to go to start celebrating the holiday season. This fourth version will be bigger and better than ever. Santa is scheduled to arrive by parachute and switch on the lights signaling the beginning of fun and festivities. Over 1,000,000 lights will be ignited illuminating the garden and the ski. Delineating trees, bushes and sculptures, the twinkles will shine in many of kids eyes.
In addition to experiencing the lights, guests can also strap on a pair of skates and slide across the ice at the Outdoor Ice Rink at Moody Gardens or listen to holiday music performed by local choirs and bands. In addition, the Garden Restaurant will serve a Holiday buffet from 4pm to 9pm daily.
