Overview
Freedom Over Texas Festival’s main attraction is its all out celebration of the Fourth of July holiday, complete with live concerts, picnics, fireworks and an event for people of all ages to enjoy.
|
Held at Eleanor Tinsley Park at Buffalo Bayou, this year’s
Freedom Over Texas Festival promises to be better than ever, featuring the music
of Leann Rimes and Clint Black on Chevy’s Freedom Stage, beginning at 6 p.m., as
well as music on four performance stages throughout the day. Chevy’s Ride and Drive offers a chance for older festival-goers to compete for the “Best Seat in the House” while youngsters are entertained at the Fiesta All-American Kid’s Zone, featuring a variety of games and prizes. Plus, there will be plenty of food and drink available, |
including the Beer Garden, serving a wide selection of beverages.
The entire family will enjoy Liberty Park and its exhibit of
tanks, Apache helicopters and military memorabilia, and there’s music of every
description to entertain strolling audiences until time for the Fireworks
Display, the true highlight of the Festival and the last event of the evening.
This fireworks display is choreographed to beloved patriotic music…an inspiring
event and a Fourth of July experience you’ll long remember.
