Overview

Houston’s Main Street Theater presents the Secret Garden, the beloved classic turned into an enchanting musical by a Pulitzer Prize winning playwright.

An 11 year old girl, orphaned in India, returns to England to live with a reclusive uncle and his invalid son.     The estate includes a mysterious locked garden, which is all it takes to lure her into its secret walls.    Through flashbacks and dream sequences, a compelling tale is told, said to be elegant and entrancing.    The show includes some beautiful music as well as a chorus of ghosts that stroll around throughout.

This story of regeneration will leave you feeling touched by magic at its end. Truly a treasure, your kids will talk about this one for months to come as they relive its beauty and mystery over and over again.
